That real Norway feeling kicked in when we entered a fjord for the first time in June 2025 — and what a breathtakingly beautiful one it was.

In June we stopped in Kristiansund. We liked the town and, above all, the enchanting island of Grip, which belongs to it.

Norway from Mandal to Bergen – May 2025
In May we continue northwards. From Mandal to Farsund, Egersund, Stavanger and Bergen. At last, we are making some proper progress.

Norway from Stavern to Mandal – April 2025
Our first Norway trip after Easter takes us from Stavern via Kristiansand to Mandal. We have to wait here a little while until the wind shifts.

At the beginning of September, we say goodbye to the Baltic Sea and set off on our five-day journey through the Göta Canal to Lake Vänern.

Before we head back to western Sweden through the Göta Canal, we spend a bit more time exploring the archipelagos around Stockholm and Nyköping.

Åland from Korpo via Rödhamn to Sweden – summer 2024
At the beginning of August, we sail the southern route to Rödhamn. From there we cross the Baltic Sea, and after a month and a half we’re back in Sweden.
