n September, we spend beautiful autumn days on Lake Vänern before travelling through the Trollhätte Canal to Gothenburg and on to the west coast.

At the beginning of September, we say goodbye to the Baltic Sea and set off on our five-day journey through the Göta Canal to Lake Vänern.

Before we head back to western Sweden through the Göta Canal, we spend a bit more time exploring the archipelagos around Stockholm and Nyköping.

Arrived in the Swedish summer: we sail from Gotland back to the mainland and via Stockholm all the way to the Åland Islands.

We sail northwards from Sweden’s south coast via Öland to Gotland. It’s still the pre-season, and the harbours are pleasantly quiet.

We’re starting the new season and heading for the Baltic Sea. But first, we’re making our way to Limhamn for a bit of boat TLC.

After Fjällbacka, it’s time to head south again. We explore the Skagerrak and Kattegat, along with a few harbours on the Swedish west coast that we had skipped before.

Glorious late summer weather, but also a few storms, accompany us on our journey northwards along the north-western Swedish Bohuslän coast.
